Benefits of Membership
Membership
entitles you to a range of benefits:

Free
'Welcome Pack' upon joining (including membership card and information about the
boys and the Sons of the Desert);

Free
quarterly tent magazine (Another Fine Gazette);

Invitation
to all tent activities;

Half price
entry to tent meetings (for adults it's £2.00 instead of £4.00; and
for children it's £1.00 instead of £2.00 — there are also special
reduced rates for families of 4 or more);

Reduced
prices in the tent shop;

Guaranteed seats at every meeting and event — only members are
guaranteed a seat;
-
'Long Service' prize at 10 years' membership stage and every 5 years
thereafter;

Membership of
a worldwide organisation;

Membership of
the only official Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society
(approved by Stan Laurel);

Other benefits as and where possible.
Fees
Membership fees
are renewable on 1 March each year.
The annual cost
of membership within the British Isles is £10.00 (or €15.00) for adults, £8.00 (or €12.00) for children
and £30.00 (or €45.00)
for a family of four (additional children are £7.00 (or €14.00)
each). International membership (i.e.
anywhere outside the British Isles) is £15.00 (or €22.00).

Family membership is based upon 2 adults and 2
children. The cost of additional children is £7.00 per annum
each. All family members receive individual membership packs and
annual membership cards. Families of 4 receive 2 magazines each
quarter. Larger families receive an extra copy for each
additional child. All members may enter any free competitions in
the magazines regardless of the number of magazines issued and are
entitled to the FREE members' draw at each and every meeting they
attend. |
